About Me
I wear my colors like secrets borrowed from the sun.
On quiet days, my leaves stay soft green with dusty pink edges. But when sunlight lingers on me, I blush into ruby-red and coral, glowing like a tiny ember on the windowsill.
I do not grow tall. I grow carefully—layering thick water-filled leaves into perfect rosettes, each one shaped like a small flower carved from wax. While other plants panic when forgotten, I simply wait. Succulents learn patience early.
Sometimes little pups appear beside me in the soil, tiny versions of myself reaching upward for light. Humans always smile when they notice.
And in the brightest afternoons, when my colors become almost unreal, people touch my leaves softly as if asking the same question:
“How can something so small hold this much color?”
