About Me

I come from quiet places where stone meets sun.

My name is Pachyphytum oviferum, though some call me “Moonstones” or “Cheese” because of my soft, rounded leaves. I do not look sharp or fierce. I look like something carved from pale wax or cooled milk, each leaf swollen and smooth, like a small stone that forgot it was ever alive.

I grow slowly—so slowly that time feels optional. My leaves stack gently along short stems, each one storing water like a secret meant for long dry seasons. When the sun is kind, a powdery blush can appear across my surface, as if light itself has settled on me and decided to stay.

I do not chase attention. I respond to it quietly. More light deepens my soft pastel tones. Less light keeps me pale and still, like a memory waiting for warmth to return.
